Provably fair

Every flight, fixed before the bet

Nobody can change where the bombs fall once a flight starts, and anyone can prove it afterwards: the player, the casino or a regulator.

How it works

Commit, play, verify

  1. Commit

    Before the flight, the server picks a secret seed and shows its SHA-256 hash. The hash fixes the flight without giving it away.

  2. Play

    Every path at every step rolls from the server seed, the player’s client seed and the flight number. Which path the player picks cannot move a bomb.

  3. Verify

    When the flight ends the seed is revealed. Hash it again and redraw the bombs: if both match, the flight was fixed in advance.

Try it

See the commit check

This runs SHA-256 in your browser on a sample seed made just now. In the game, the shield button does the same for your last flight and redraws every bomb.

commit = SHA-256(server_seed)
roll = HMAC-SHA256(server_seed, "client_seed:nonce:step:path"), first 52 bits ÷ 252
bomb = roll ≥ survival chance of that step
